What you see looking back at you in the mirror may not always be an entirely accurate reflection of who you are. It may only tell part of the story because, as these twins demonstrate, what reflects on the outside may not capture what is really there. Our eyes may modify or even outright lie to us at times. But once we adjust our vision to reality and make sure that what we are seeing is an image that is true- the one we can work with, build on and depend upon, there is one more question that you have to ask:
DO THE PEOPLE IN MY LIFE SEE ME LIKE I SEE MYSELF? IF THEY DON’T, EITHER I HAVE TO CHANGE OR THEY HAVE TO GO.
That is a rough assessment but it is fair. If you are sharing your time, your energy and your resources with people that do not see you the way that you see yourself you are going to have serious problems, my friends. Surface vision just won’t cut it.
Fortunately, those problems are entirely avoidable. You simply have to keep company with those who can share your vision of who you are on every level. And if you are the only one who sees the vision, then just keep company with yourself. That will do just fine until the rest of the world catches up to what you see.
